Job Title: Midway Manager

We are seeking a talented and motivated Midway Manager to join the team at Circus Flora. The Midway Manager will be responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the audience’s experience, from the moment they enter the gates to the end of the performance, is exceptional.
- Coordinate all front-of-house operations, including customer service and concessions.
- Ensure that all front-of-house staff are properly trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during performances.
- Manage the aesthetics of the circus lot, including signage, lighting, and overall appearance.
- Oversee the operations of the hospitality tent, including food and beverage service, seating arrangements, and overall customer experience.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure that all equipment and supplies are in good working order and readily available.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for the front-of-house operations.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including concessions and event expenses.
- Plan and coordinate special events, such as VIP performances, and work with front-of-house staff to ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to handle these events.
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during performances and work with other circus staff to resolve them quickly and efficiently.
- Proven experience as a front-of-house manager, event planner, or similar role in a large-scale venue.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Passion for the circus and a commitment to providing an exceptional audience experience.
- Strong aesthetic sense and an eye for detail.
